Need Update?

Well hello, I am very sorry that I haven't updated in over a month or so. Wedding planning has gone so great! So far, I have..
picked a caterer
picked out my flowers
picked out bridesmaid dresses
picked out my garter
picked out flower girl outfits
picked out centerpieces

I'm so excited to put everything together! I would love to show you everything, but I really want it to be a surprise!

Another thing that has been very hard to do for the wedding is the guest list. OH MY WORD. It is very hard. I am limited and that is where the hard part comes in. I'm very sorry if you don't get an invitation. Patrick and I want everyone there, but when the reception place only takes so many people, we have to limit the guests. If you are very, very close to us, you are on the list :)

We took our Save the Date pictures the week of finals week and it was so much fun! Kelsey is so sweet and a lot of fun. It was not awkward at all. If it was, it was because of Patrick and his comments. He's a goof, but I get to marry him :) I got the pictures the day after Christmas. And that was the best Christmas gift. I loved every one of them. They came out so great. Kelsey does so good at editing and taking pictures! I'm so excited for our wedding. She is going to do a great job! Here are some of the pictures that Patrick and I both love!

I love them and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Patrick! 198 more days!

November Planning..

Being home is soo great! I'm so excited to be home! Flying back home was a little crazy. My flight from Dallas to San Antonio was canceled! I was put on standby. I finally got to get on a plane back home two and a half hours later! I was so anxious to get home. I think I was the last one to leave OC for home, so I was anxious!! When I got off the plane I walked fast to the baggage claim to meet with my dad. As I saw him from a far, tears started rolling down my face! Ran to him and hugged him tight. I was filled with emotion. I didn't want to let go because I knew people would just stare at me with my eyes filled with tears. I got my baggage and headed home. Nothing like coming back to hot weather! It was at least 80 degrees outside. A little after I got home, my mom got home from work. I was so happy. Back home with my parents. I sat down with them and my mom said, "Hey, lets go look at dresses." I had a huge smile on my face and ran to take a shower to get ready to try on dresses. We got ready and my mom and I were off to look at dresses. I had it stuck in my mind that we were just going to go look ONLY! I guess my mother knew me better because she brought the dress money without me knowing. First place we went to didn't have nothing! Next stop was David's Bridal. I had a couple of dresses that I had in mind that I wanted to try on. While looking through the dresses I found so many that I knew I wanted to try on. Once I had a few to try on, we went straight to the dressing room. Dress one: Ew. Dress two: Hmm..cute. Dress Three: the one I've always loved in pictures. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. I thought, this is the one. I loved it, my mom loved it, and my consultant loved it. I talked with my sisters and future mother in law and they approved. It was set, I was going to get it. When walking back to the dressing room I saw Dress two. I looked at my mom and said, I want to try that dress on again for some reason. She looked at me weird and said ok. I put it back on and my faced glowed! "Mom, I think this is THE ONE." For some odd reason, the second dresses made me feel like a bride. Don't get me wrong, Dress three is what I've always loved and will love, but Dress two was the one! It fit perfect, it looked perfect, and I just felt like a BRIDE! That evening was crazy. I couldn't believe that I changed my mind. That same day I walked out with my dress. I was in complete shock! The drive home, I had no doubts! Till this day, I still have no doubts! Knowing that Dress three was the dress that I've looked at for so long, Dress two was THE ONE! So now, so far I have a venue and a dress! I think I'm good with wedding planning for Thanksgiving! :)

1 Room for 2 People?

Patrick and I are in the process of looking and figuring out where we want to go on our honeymoon. This is probably the hardest decision! We want a beach for sure, but don't know where?? What dawned to me last night was...we are booking one hotel room for us two. I'm a dork, I know, but it hit me. Wow, we are getting married! Ha, I know I'm a little late on that, but I'm excited! It's a great feeling that I'm going to get married and spend the rest of my life with that person. We are going to be roommates! (Sorry Alli, but I am going to miss you!!). It's life FREINDS, when Monica tells Rachel that Chandler is going to move it, "I'm going to live with a BOY!" and then Monica starts crying. Haha great episode!

On another note, I'm SOO EXICTED for tomorrow. I'm going to go see the Harry Potter movie!!! Every year I see the new Harry Potter movie the day it comes out, but this year I'm going a day late. It's okay, I know Patty doesn't care for big crowds, so I begged him to go the next day. Let's hope he likes it. I know I'll LOVE IT! Tomorrow is also a date day with Patrick. We are going to celebrate our 2 Year Anniversary and our engagement. We haven't celebrated or just spent time with just me and him to take everything in. So, I'm looking forward to it tomorrow!

The wedding will all take place in San Antonio, Texas! Here is just one picture of the entrance of the reception. I want the wedding to be all a surprise! :) I will write about my planning, but this wedding is going to be a surprise and a PARTY! :)

Stop, Is this real?!?! :)

Well y'all...it happened!! I'm engaged! Patrick popped the question and I think...I said yes. Haha, well I'm pretty sure I did behind all the mumble jumble :) Well here is the story...
Patrick and me with our roommates have "roommate dinners" We haven't had one in awhile, so Jared sent out an email saying that we should have a roommate dinner like old times. He said just to come to the boys apartment after meeting. Well, out of all meetings, Gamma lasted for an hour and 20 mins. When I got out of meeting Alli texted me saying, "where are you?? The boys have to leave soon for their volleyball game!" So i called and said, Y'all eat without me, I'll be there soon. When I got to the parking lot, I ran up the stairs and knocked on the door. When it opened...BAM! Patty was dressed up so handsome and there were petals all over the floor and signs hanging everywhere! The first words out of my mouth were, "Where's Alli?" He laughed and said she's not here and got down on one knee. All I kept saying was..."Stop...Patrick..Stop...Stop Please (then started crying) My guess is he asked me when I started crying and I said YES! We hugged and I just kept saying, "Is this real? Is this real life right now?" And he just laughed and told me yes. I hugged him for so long and then he had me watch a video that he put together all by himself! I was so proud!! After the video Alli and Jared came out. Funny thing is, by then I didn't even have the ring on my finger!! So finally he put it on my finger and it became official! WE ARE ENGAGED!!!!! :) After it all, Patrick's parents and his brother and sister in law were at the door! Took lots of pictures, then Patrick had to leave quickly to his volleyball game. I had my candle-lighting that night and it was perfect! November 9th will never be forgotten and I'm so excited to become Mrs. Daniella Rayner!! :)

Cute Couple

Can I just say that I thought Me and Patrick were so cute at the Gamma Date party. Trust me, there were a lot of great costumes at the party! Funny ones and cute ones. I just thought in my opinion, me and Patty were too darn cute! Take a look! :)

Growing Up

Well, I guess its that time for me to start looking into my future. Scary! I feel like I just started college just yesterday and now I'm graduating in April?!? Time flies by really fast!! For those still in college enjoy your years and make it the best! I know i still a semester left, but I hope to not waste it. I want to enjoy my last semester in college, last semester in Gamma, last spring sing, last everything! So sad, but exciting at the same time. Where do I start? How do I find a job? I like to get things done early. So I'm in the process of revising my resume and sending it out. I do need an internship this spring, so I'm looking for a internship that I can keep my foot in the door for when I graduate. I know I want to edit. I can sit in front of a computer all day long and just edit. Video editing is a passion of mine. I would also consider photography as another passion of mine. I went to a professionals luncheon this afternoon and had a blast. I meet a lot of people and got a lot of advice. Now, I just need to take action. Its the scary part. Today I got the push to start on something. I'm a little nervous because I feel like I won't get hired anywhere, but I did receive some great advice. "If you get rejected, don't let that bring you down, keep looking and don't give up" said Tristan from Gooden Group. I just need to keep my head up and start looking. Hopefully someone will hire me! :)

Our first..

Me and Patrick have this saying of "Our first..(fill in the blank). It started when we first started dating. We went to the Alamo Bowl together and it was our first Alamo Bowl game together. Then it was a Redhawks opening game, then it was first Pro baseball pre-season game together (Athletics/Rangers). That game we met Josh Hamilton and Derek Holland. It was so great! Then we had our first Rangers/Twins game on the 3rd row. Yesterday it was our first playoff baseball game (Rangers/Yankees). As you can tell majority of all "our first" we like to start are about sports. We love sports and we love to watch sports together. Today, I tried to convince him for us to get World Series tickets and call it our first World series game, but he said no because tickets are WAY expensive. He is right, but it would be amazing to go to the game. The world series tickets are for the Rangers. I have a strong feeling that they will make it to the World Series! They have a great chance! They did so well yesterday in Game 2. They lost Game 1, but yesterday they swept the Yankees. I'm so excited to watch Game 3 tomorrow!! Lets home they do well and beat them in New York. I love my relationship with Patrick and I love that we can start sayings like "this will be our first..." Who knows what will be the next "Our First" :)

Gamma Rho

Well, rush and greek week is over. I can't believe its all done and now the Gammies have become a Gamma girl! It is so exciting! I love meeting them as freshmen and then they rush Gamma and get in. Its a great process! They are now my sisters! As much as I love rush and greek week, i'm glad its over. It takes over your life, but really fun at the same time. I guess you can say, I'm ready to have a normal schedule and go to bed early because all of my homework will get done early! Now about my Gamma family, the Niles. Love them to death. I feel that this year we have all got really close. We spent lots of time together and it has been a blast. Kind of sad that this is my last year for everything. I'm graduating! Ah! I'm going to miss Gamma and OC, but I'll be excited to graduate and not have homework :) I hope Gamma and my Niles family will grow strong through the years! And I think it will! Thanks to everyone that made rush so great! Great job Kirby and Keely!! Now lets make this a great year for GAMMA! YEAR OF THE ORANGE! GO GAMMA RHO!

Roommate Love

I would like to dedicate this blog to my wonderful roommate, Alli Ann Jeffers! We've been roommates since sophomore year and we've had great memories and moments together since then! She's funny, nice, beautiful, and high maintenance (she knows it and admits to it too). Her high maintenance doesn't bother me because its Alli and I love her for who she is! :) I just love it when we are together talking with Friends in the background. Or how she makes fun of me and I make fun of her right back. We go great together! She's in Theta and I'm in Gamma, and I LOVE that. We are still best friends even though we aren't in the same club. We have a rule that no Theta or Gamma stuff are allowed in the living room and that is what I call RESPECT! I respect her and she respects me! I'm so thankful that we have lived together the past 3 years and we don't get annoyed with each other. I mean, we do have our times, but we are open and honest with each other and that is the definition of a true friendship. I love the fact that her and Patrick get along! That is what is so great, is the fact that they can talk and hang out and call each other good friends! We can talk for hours and we do is just laugh! Do we make dumb videos together? Yes. Do we sing really loud in the car and in the apartment? Yes. Are we obsessed with Eminem? Yes. Alli Ann Jeffers is the best roommate ever and is also my best friend!

Senior Year already??

Well, I've only got one more year left and its pretty crazy! I can't believe that I'm a senior already. It felt like I just moved into my freshman dorm. I will say, this year was the hardest to say goodbye to my parents than freshman year. I had so much fun this summer at home. I spent a lot of time with my parents and loved every minute of it. It really hit me that I'm 8 hours away from home. Makes me sad, but I do love it here at OC. I've got amazing friends, awesome sisterhood, Gamma Rho, great church family, fun roommate, and of course my sweet boyfriend! :) It really makes me nervous, that in 8 months I will be graduating from college with a degree! Ah, but I'm ready for the future. I know I will miss college, but won't miss school. Hope to update with great memories that I experience here at OC my last year!!

"We are the 3 best friends that anybody could ever have"

This weekend I had a sleepover with my two best friends from home. These girls are so much fun and I've known them since I was in the 7th grade. They were the first girls I met when I started going to MacArthur Park Church of Christ. We have had lots of sleepovers, late nights, dinner parties, and many youth group events together! It was very sad when we all left to college. Erin Brown goes to Abilene Christian. Sarah Haley goes to Lubbock Christian. And I go to Oklahoma Christian. We are the same distance from each other. It like a triangle! This weekend Erin got engaged!! When she called all you could hear were screams and me jumping up and down! She is the happiest with Kolby and I wish them the best! This summer Erin has stayed in Abilene. Me and Sarah were in San Antonio and we got to spend a lot of time together. We went to Sea World, Rihanna concert, and many mall trips. So finally this weekend Erin was in town and of course we had to have a sleepover like old times and celebrate Erin's engagement. I haven't had this much fun all summer!! We went downtown and ate dinner. We walked around and acted like goofs like always. Came back to my house and talked all night. Woke up and had breakfast tacos and talked about wedding stuff. I'm so glad we got to have a sleepover this summer before we all go back to school! Love these girls! I sure miss them when I'm in Oklahoma, but I know we will always be best friends! :) Here are a few pictures from the night!

Bitter Sweet

Well, Patrick already left back home this morning and it was a bitter sweet moment. I'm going to miss him so much, but I want him to go home and spend time with his parents and enjoy his last weeks of summer. This summer was so amazing! I was very lucky to spend the summer with my boyfriend in the same city. We both had internships and were very busy, but I still got to see him at church and maybe a Saturday. I'm so thankful for the time we had together and I'm sad to see him leave, but I know I will get to see him very soon. I know that he is ready to head home and relax. I'm excited for him! These next few weeks I feel like are going to come so quickly. And I know I'm going to miss home a lot! I've enjoyed my time with my parents. I don't think I have had this much time with them since I've left to OC. It is always hard to come home 2nd semester. I'm ready to head back and see everyone, but I know when I have to say goodbye to my parents it is going to be very hard. Kind of sucks that OC and home are 8 hours away, but I'm excited that my parents are helping me move in my apartment and spend some time with me when I head back to OC. Now, I've got to live it up with my parents these next weeks and go to Sea World on Friday with Sarah. I need to get a tan before school haha.

"Please Don't Stop the Music"

Last night I went to the Rihanna concert with one of my good friends from home, Sarah! This concert was a last minute decision. I didn't even know she was going to be in town. I found out maybe a week ago. I just bought $20 tickets and the seats were not bad at all. But I will say, this decision was the best. I had so much fun and enjoyed seeing her perform. Rihanna does give great concerts! She is so creative in her style. I mean, its a little crazy and weird, but its her style. Ke$ha opened up for her and this was my first time to actually see what she looks like. She's pretty, but real funky. Ke$ha did give a good concert too! Over all, it was a great night! Before the concert me and Sarah went to Spaghetti Warehouse and it was soo good! Last night just really made me want to go to more concerts!! :)
P.S. I was really hoping Eminem would pop up when Rihanna sang her part of "Love the way you lie"

I am Tia DoDo

I just got back from the greatest trip ever! My parents and I went to McKinney (north of Dallas) to see my sisters, nephew, nieces, and brother in laws. We had some great family quality time! First night we got to my sister's new house, played with the kids and went to bed soo late! Woke up the next morning and did some shopping in Frisco. I got some great stuff and I bought my red Toms! Later that day my other sister came to my sister's house with my niece and brother in law. We had a great dinner and then went to the park that is right outside my sister's house. I had a ball with my nephew and nieces. Especially my nieces! They are 2 years old and they talk like crazy. Of course they aren't full sentences, but to hear them its the cutest! Every since William could talk he started to call me Tia DoDo. Then it just kind of stuck to me. Now my nieces call me that, the whole family really. Over all, I had the best time! Family is definitely a big part of my life! Of course, I missed Patrick and so did William. William adores Patrick and is always talking about him! It's the cutest thing. I love being an aunt. I love when the kids giving me hugs and kisses. It the greatest thing ever!

I have a second love

No, I'm not cheating on Patrick. I just have this love for my reality shows. I know, they are bad and they aren't worth watching, but I love'em! I've watched the Hills since it started. It first started with Laguna Beach. That show only had 2 seasons, which I miss watching Laguna Beach so much, but then they grew up and LC started another show, The Hills. The Hills is about college girls living on their own in LA. Of course, there is girl drama and boy drama. I'm so entertained by it. Like I said I've watched it since they first started, but recently I missed two seasons and tonight is the finale. Tonight is the night where they all say goodbye and it will be completely over! I'm so sad that I missed 2 seasons, so what am I doing..watching them online both season 5 and 6. Not only do I love to watch The Hills, but the Real Housewives of New York and New Jersey. Yes, I know these are worse, but they are so entertaining. New York is already over and New Jersey is about to be over, but Bethenny getting married is still going on (I've got my mom hooked on that one) I love these shows and there is no stopping me :/ haha

Girlfriend Points

Today is Patrick's birthday and he turned 22! I didn't really get to spend much time with him because he was busy with intern lunch and then a youth activity after church. But I was lucky to have dinner with him last night and give him his gifts! I've just got to say I think I got some girlfriend points. Patrick is a huge Lakers fan and me of course, I love the Spurs. Well, when I got his shirt at Champs I got some ugly looks and was questioned of why I was getting a Lakers shirt. All I could say was, "it's for my boyfriend" they gave me a look of "i feel sorry for you." It didn't bother me because I know with me buying that shirt, I was going to get a happy boyfriend. Of course I showed my dad and he responded with, "well, you've got to get that shirt out of the house by midnight". Hahaha. So..I think I got girlfriend points! Overall we had a great night. I cooked Poppy seed Chicken (his favorite) and watched some FRIENDS (of course). He later got to Skype with his parents and he loved that. I know he misses home! He's only got three more weeks and he'll be back in Oklahoma, away from the Spurs fans.

Patrick with his Lakers shirt

We had a great night. Happy Birthday Patrick!

Sick Days

Ugh, I hate when I get sick. I haven't gotten sick in awhile and then BAM! A few days ago the body aches hit me. MAN! Well, that is why I haven't blogged. So far life has been good. I've laid in bed and watched Friends seasons 7 & 8 :) I've gone into work a couple of days for a few hours to help edit, but I would leave home early to get more rest. I don't want to look like a bad intern, ya know. Hopefully this weekend I'll rest so when Monday comes I'm ready and back to normal! But..it is my boyfriend's birthday on Sunday! So may not get all the rest, but I have laid in bed all week. I think I should be fine :)

My Handsome One

Tonight I had a date with my sweet boyfriend, Patrick. He's been pretty busy with camps these past 3 weeks. And so he had a free night to take me on a date! :) He's interning at my church this summer and he's doing such an amazing job. The kids love him and he loves to hang out with them and just be himself. I"m very blessed that we are in the same city this summer.

If you don't know my boyfriend, he is pretty funny! He's sweet, kind, loving, funny, and knows how to make me the happiest. We've been dating for over a year and a half and those have been the most amazing days of my life. We've been through everything together. We have our ups and downs, but what we do best is laugh with each other!
I came to OC not expecting to find "the guy", but sophomore year he appeared in front of me! And I thank God for that day!
Tonight was just so relaxing and fun! We went to La Cantera and ate at Kona Grill. He had sushi for the first time and loved it. I love their sushi. It's soo good! We walked around the shops looking at stores and just held hands. It is such a nice feeling to have someone next to you, holding your hand. Makes me you feel special and tells you that you aren't alone. I'm blessed :)

Sorry if this was a lovey dovey blog. I just had to brag about my boyfriend once! :)
Now I'm off to bed because tomorrow is the Lord's day! :)
Have a blessed Sunday tomorrow! Oh and Happy 4th of July!! :)

Tear Jerker

Well, tonight I went to go see Toy Story 3 with my parents. Wow, what a great movie. I love all three, but the second one will always have my heart! If you haven't seen Toy Story 3 GO SEE IT! Its worth it! I'm not going to tell you anything about it, but it can really make you tear up. I loved every minute of it! It made me laugh, smile, and cry.
Tomorrow I go back to work. Ya see, I only need 120 hours for credit hour of an internship, but I want to do more than that. I want more experience and they are sure giving it to me! If you don't know, I'm interning at WOAI New 4 and I love it! I'm interning with the editors and they are great! They have taught me a lot and I'm really learning a lot from them. I've learned the new program they use and I've got to do packages and edit things by myself. I'm really loving life. The great part is, is that when I edit stuff I get to watch Housewives of New Jersey if they are on during the day. It's great! Haha. Really makes me think about my future and how I really want to do this when I graduate. I've just got to get another internship in Oklahoma so that way HOPEFULLY I can get a job!
Well, my boyfriend comes back tomorrow from camp! I've missed him! He has done such a great job as a youth intern at my church. He loves the kids and the kids love him! He's such a great person and I love him so much for that. God has really blessed me with a amazing Christian man! He makes me happy and there is no one that can replace him! :)
Well, I better get to bed soon. Have a great night ya'll!
Also, is it me or has this week gone by so fast?

Am I really that indecisive?

Well, today was a pretty tiring day. Went to bed late and woke up early for church. I did some shopping with my mom. And then all of sudden I want a new phone. My phone I have now is okay, but I get tired of it easily. Well, I went on Craigslist and found a Sprint Instinct. It was a great price, so I called the lady and bought it from her. On the way home I was in the process of activating it when the lady tells me I need to upgrade to another kind of plan and it was going to be like $40 extra! $40 EXTRA! Uh, nope that going to happen. So, then I called the lady I bought it from and I returned it. She then told me that she had another phone that I could buy from her, so without thinking about it too much. I bought it. Well, now I'm home and I start to think, I don't want to give up my phone, so now I'm returning it back to her and keeping my old one. I feel horrible, I KNOW! But the lady did say, you call me if you change your mind or anything. So i took the offer. Tomorrow I'm returning the phone and sticking with old one. Here is my baby, and will always be my baby.

Miss Granbury

I was blessed to attend Camp Zenith as a counselor. It was my 6th year at Zenith. I used to go when I was in High School and now I go back to be a counselor. It is so much fun. It can be tiring because you wake up early and go to bed late, but then you get used to it. Just like today, I woke up early even though I didn't have to. Ha, it might go back to my normal in a few days with waking up pretty late, but I do return back to News 4 on Monday. The best part about camp was that I got to see the Granbury kids! They just brought a huge smile to my face. I miss them so much. It was very hard not to return back this summer, but I guess I have to start becoming an adult. Ugh. Oh well, I am going to college for a reason. When I arrived I saw Lexi, Paige, Daniel, Ty, Jason, and Justin. Then all the others would popped out and gave them hugs. Throughout the week I saw them here and there. I didn't have them in my group, but it was okay. I had other great kids! I had some from Weatherford, Altus, and Dallas. They were great and so much fun. They were all outgoing and not shy at ALL, which was so great for me!

Group 21

Me and Lexi

Me and Paige

Me with some of the boys.

I miss my Granbury Kids and they will always have a special place in my heart! I know that sounds cheesy, but its true :)

Other than missing my Granbury kids, camp was great. We had about 10 kids get baptized. God is Good. You could really see that God was working through these kids during the week. I'm very blessed.

Something New..

Well, I love to read my friend's blog and decided this morning, why don't I start one too. Maybe someone would like to read about my life? To be honest, I may not be all that interesting, but who knows something really cool could happen in my life, but I promise to make it worth reading!
Today, I need to finish packing for Camp Zenith. I'm so excited that I'll be a counselor again! It is an amazing experience! You definitely get something out of it. Being around other Christians is really a blessing, but being around 300 high school kids and their eager to learn more about Christ is just simply a beautiful thing. I can't wait to go back to OC (my second home) and be around amazing people!
Well, I better get to packing and I will update when I can!

much love!
